100 Good Deeds Bracelet #Giveaway #1GD

As a fan of classic movies I am fascinated by the portrayal of acts of kindness to both friends and strangers alike.  Now many of us can’t be courteous or gracious to others. It may be due to fear, living a busy life or isolation. The Pay It Forward movement brought back the thoughtfulness and caring for others. The 100 Good Deeds Bracelet, which I was given to review, reminds us to perform acts of kindness.

Review of 100 Good Deeds Bracelet

Made by “vulnerable women” in Haiti, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia and Johannesburg, each bracelet is handcrafted braided nylon and 100 glass beads. They come in various colors and look chic. The 100 Good Deeds Bracelets fit well with any outfit. I found it easy to wear, just wrap the bracelet around your wrist three times and adjust the length by sliding the knot along the cord. I received the Aqua bracelet and love the color.

The Story of the 100 Good Deeds Bracelet

Mary Fisher, an author, activist and artist, decided to create the bracelet and the movement after meeting Thomas Morgan. He created a game named 100Good Deeds. Mary believes in helping, empowering and giving hope to others, With the 1GD (100 Good Deeds) movement, all of these acts can be accomplished:

• Buying the bracelet is your first good deed – giving women in need a means to earn money
• Your good deeds are anonymous. That is an important rule of the movement.
• Wearing the bracelet allows you to share the movement with others, becoming an advocate.
